Oh Dear
The alligator is coming, he's going to find me out.
He's rooting around in my flat in the day when I am out.
He goes through my things, my food and my rings,
He's poking around with his snout.
He's leaving claw-marks all over the hall.
Better watch out! Better watch out!
Oh my days are numbered.
There's an army of frogs living under the stairs,
I can hear them whispering late at night.
They're planning my assasination,
They're preparing for a fight.
I try to appease them, offering cheese
Whatever I can afford
But I know it's too late, it's a matter of time
Before they're knocking at my door.
Oh my days are numbered.
They're coming in from the outside,
They're coming in to the house.
Flats and lings, reptillian things
Slithering quietly as a mouse
They're coming in under the doorway,
They're coming on up the stairs.
I can hear them I can smell them -
Beware! Beware!
Yea my days are numbered
Amphibians with great big teeth fill my dreams when I go to sleep.
