CD single number 4, in Hot Press

The fourth single from the self-professed quirk-rockers sways happily in the woozy manner of a drinking song/smoking song/wishful thinking song, recorded live down the boozer on the old joanna with the aid of friends and punters. Fortunately Stoat were able to commit this endearing little performance to CD before singlaongs of the nature, and indeed enjoyment of any kind, are banned from public places. The ivories are also deliciously tickled in 'Music for Emergencies', a playful salute to the tension-heightening music from silent movies.

[Stoat review-of-review: a description rather than a review, but a nice one from someone who's obviously actually listened to the CD. Docked one point for rambling on about enjoyment being banned from public places - what's all that about? 7 out of 10]
